Hooray! HOA Motion for Rehearing Denied!

Early last year (2012) a Duval County Homeowners' Association filed a lawsuit against a couple for planting a drought-tolerant landscape. After almost two years this lawsuit and the subsequent Motion for Rehearing, have finally been closed...at least for the time being. The homeowners won their right to retain their Florida Friendly landscape!

If you haven't joined the Facebook group "Homeowners For Florida Friendly Yards" you probably aren't aware of all the recent conversations about upcoming hearings, more homeowners being sued by their HOAs and increases in HOA Directors' insurance and huge deductibles after one lawsuit was won by the homeowner.
