Shouldn’t Every Day Be Valentine’s Day?

Today is the recognized, commercialized, love-holiday known as Valentine’s Day. I happen to believe every day should be a day where we do something nice for someone or profess our caring, love or affection!

If you are one of the ones celebrating today, and maybe every day, with tokens of love perhaps a “greening of your love tokens” is something you might want to explore today.  Chores for partners and spouses have traditionally been called “Honey-Do Lists”.  Why not consider this a “Caring List” of things you can help a neighbor, friend, spouse, partner or an older person unable to do as much and help them today or any day of the year?

A handmade “coupon book” is a great way to show your affection today and during the year.  If you need help thinking of chores to help someone, This Old House has compiled a list of the top 10 chores on “Honey-Do” lists.  Click here to read the top 10 chores, choose one or two and use the downloadable button to print a very cute coupon.

So have a happy, every day is Valentine’s Day!
