Buying Or Using Products Of The Greenest Companies recently released their 2011 annual report of the greenest companies.  Each company is graded on a scorecard and then listed with their score.  If you are planning on flying somewhere this holiday season perhaps you would like to support one of the most environmentally friendly airlines when buying your ticket.  If purchasing new appliances, check the scores of the manufacturers so you can support one of the greener appliance companies.

Some of the categories in this report are beverages, household products, food items, furniture, electronics, apparel, toys, media devices, software, hotels and consumer shipping.  Click here to see the overview of scores in each category and for more details, including the criteria used, follow the link to the complete report.  This is a great report and one I will use for reference as I want to support those companies reducing their environmental impact.  Who knows, maybe other companies will change their manufacturing processes to reduce their carbon footprint.
