Plumbing 101 – Fixing leaky toilets and faucets

All of us have probably changed our share of flappers in toilets yet I learned a couple “plumber’s” tricks from this plumbing primer.  I always thought leaky faucets were too difficult to tackle, especially the one in the kitchen.  After reading Scott Gibson’s article in This Old House, I feel confident I can tackle a leaky faucet.  So, if your faucet or commode is leaking, save money on your water bill, the cost of repair and feel good about helping conserve one of our most valuable resources, our water, and read this easy “how-to” article.
