My neighbors who know I am trying to go greener ask me if I plan to put rocks or mulch in my whole yard so I won’t have to water. When I explain I will be planting native plant species and shrubs they think I will be planting my yard with weeds! There is a lot still to learn…by me and my neighbors! The EPA WaterSense division has a wonderful website with information about general landscaping practices.
