The International Green Construction Code
The first national Green Construction Code is set to be released sometime this spring. Already there is some discussion about the value of such a code. On one side, hooray for the government adopting a green construction code and on the other hand, why is a new green code necessary when there are already energy guidelines written into other codes, i.e. the IECC (energy code) and the IRC/IBC (building codes)?
